My Story
Hi, I'm Nick.
I know most people don't love having their picture taken.
That's why every session begins with conversation—not posing. My job isn't simply to create a flattering photograph. It's to help you relax enough to feel confident, look professional, and present your best self.
Whether you're updating LinkedIn, leading a company, launching a business, or preparing for your next opportunity, your headshot should look like the very best version of you—not someone pretending to be.

I'm a Salt Lake City–based commercial photographer with more than 20 years of experience creating images for businesses, healthcare organizations, advertising agencies, universities, and national brands. Along the way I've photographed everything from gourmet food to heavy machinery—and I've found people are much more interesting.
I earned my Master's degree in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and I've never stopped being a student of light, personality, and visual storytelling. That background taught me to think quickly, adapt easily, and find authentic moments—whether I'm photographing a CEO, a surgeon, or someone who insists they're "not photogenic."
I've been fortunate to receive national recognition for my work and serve on the advisory boards of both the Art Institute of Salt Lake and the American Society of Media Photographers. Those honors mean a great deal, but what matters most is hearing a client say, "That's actually me?"—followed closely by, "I can't believe I actually enjoyed having my picture taken."
I believe the best headshots don't just capture how you look—they capture who you are.
